The major of Land Resources Management of Yunnan Agricultural University relies on the key discipline of Yunnan Province -- the first-level discipline of Agricultural Resources and Environment. It has 6 provincial-level platforms and more than 10 off-campus practice bases. The program began to enroll students in 2009. At present, the university has more than 260 undergraduates.

The major of Land Resource Management has 23 full-time teachers, including 6 professors and 11 associate professors, accounting for 74% of teachers with senior professional titles. After graduation, applied professionals can be engaged in land investigation and evaluation, land use planning, land consolidation, cadastral management, asset evaluation, land management policies and regulations in various levels of land, urban construction, real estate, information, environmental protection, urban management and related fields. At present, graduates are mainly distributed in public institutions such as land resources (natural resources), agriculture and rural areas, or enterprises such as land consolidation, planning and asset evaluation in various cities and cities of Yunnan Province.
